Class Descriptions

Rocket (Vinyasa)

This mixed-levels vinyasa class is a dialed-down version the Ashtanga-based practice taught at AstaYoga, our host studio.  Connecting breath with movement, we start with sun-salutations, followed by standing postures, balancing postures, seated postures, backbends, and inversions.  Beginners will find it thrilling to learn that they can actually do it.  It’s not that hard.  Seasoned practitioners will find the practice consistent, rigorous and fulfilling.

Slow Flow

It’s just what it sounds like.  We start with a gentle warmup, then move together through a series of postures at a slow and relaxed pace.  The sequence will vary depending on the needs of the class and the whims of the instructor.

Yin Yoga

Have a conversation with gravity. After a gentle warmup, you’ll be guided into restorative postures that you will hold for a longer time. Blocks and bolsters will prop you up. Still your mind. Leave feeling restored.

Partner Yoga

We offer occasional partner yoga workshops with guided massage. And optional partner yoga postures are sometimes offered during our weekly classes.

Private Lessons

They’re a thing.  Talk to your teacher directly.
